I worked for Rusty Birds and their parent company, Elegant Garden Designs, from 2021-2022. I was originally hired as a freelance graphic designer, working on brochures, product packaging, catalogs, and more before being hired on as a full-time event manager. I was in charge of scheduling and managing all events for Rusty Birds, including farmer’s markets, vintage shows, and home and garden shows across California, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. We had 2-3 employees on the events team at any given time, and I worked with them to prepare the products and decorations for the events, set up on location, and manage the booth during the events. We often had 2-3 shows per weekend, which I oversaw.
